Fixed scope.
Fixed price.
Known deliverable.

Consulting fails at your size when it's open-ended. Every engagement below has a defined boundary, a stated price, and an artefact you keep — whether or not you continue. No hourly billing, no scope creep, no dependency by design.

The entry point is free

A 30-minute Process Health Check. We walk your two worst wastes together and you leave with one concrete, measurable next step. If a paid engagement makes sense, I'll say so. If it doesn't, I'll say that too.

01 — Visibility

Operational Visibility & BI

Most operations don't have a data problem. They have a decision problem wearing a data costume: forty reports, no agreement on which is right, and nothing that tells anyone what to do differently on Monday.

This engagement audits every number you produce against the decision it feeds, retires the ones nobody uses, and rebuilds the 8–12 indicators that actually run a service business — most of them forward-facing — on one screen your own data feeds.

Dashboards before process maps is the most expensive sequence error in this industry. Why this work starts with a map, not a tool
Deliverables

What you keep

  • Measurement audit — every report and metric inventoried against the decision it serves
  • KPI definition set — 8–12 indicators, each with a formula, a trigger, and a named owner
  • Power BI dashboard — executive summary plus an operational drill-down
  • Data source map — what feeds what, and where the manual handoffs still are
  • Weekly review format — the 20-minute rhythm that keeps it alive after I leave
From $9,500 Fixed scope · typically 3–5 weeks
02 — Diagnostics

Uptime & NPT Diagnostic

Find the hidden cost of downtime — and the business case to fix it — in two weeks. Built for operators, EPCs, and service companies losing money to unplanned downtime, non-productive time, and rework on a producing asset, turnaround, or drilling program.

The problem we size

One day of unplanned downtime runs six to seven figures. Most teams feel the pain but can't name the dollar figure or the root cause.

  • Opportunity map — your top losses ranked by size, as a Pareto of where the money leaks
  • CoPQ / NPT quantification — downtime, NPT, and rework converted to an annualised dollar figure
  • A3 business case — a one-page, executive-ready case for the top 1–3 prizes
  • 45-minute readout — a working session that turns findings into a decision
  • Scoped path forward — a fixed-scope improvement program, optional, no obligation
$8,000 – $15,000 Fixed · 1–2 weeks · scope-dependent
How it works — 10 working days
01

Frame

Remote voice-of-customer interviews plus a structured data request. Scope locked as a SIPOC.

02

Read

Gemba-style review of the data; Pareto of losses ranked by size, not by volume of complaint.

03

Size

Quantify cost of poor quality and NPT; build the A3 business case against root cause.

04

Decide

45-minute readout with sized prizes and a next-step scope you can accept or decline.

Risk reversed

100% of the diagnostic fee is credited against a follow-on improvement program. If you proceed, the assessment is effectively free — and a single avoided day of unplanned downtime typically covers it many times over.

03 — Capability

Quality Systems
& Training

Quality management that supports daily operations and leadership decisions — not documentation for auditors. And belt training that leaves your own people able to run improvements without me. Prices are per cohort, up to 15 participants.

Beyond the workshop

Keep the capability
after I leave

A workshop that ends when the room empties is a cost. These options turn it into an internal capability your organisation owns.

  • Program — $4,000/mo, plus active project mentoring and a maintained CI scorecard
04 — How pricing works

Priced on the outcome,
not the hour

Principle 01

You know the number first

Every engagement is quoted as a fixed price against a written scope. If the scope changes, we re-quote in the open — you never receive a surprise invoice.

Principle 02

Discounts trade scope, not rate

If the budget is tight, we remove scope — a shorter session, a smaller cohort, onsite moved to virtual. The rate holds, so the quality of what you do buy holds with it.

Principle 03

The diagnostic pays for itself

The diagnostic fee is credited in full against a follow-on program. You get the dollar figure and the root cause before committing a dollar to the fix.

Terms

Standard terms

  • Workshops — 50% deposit to reserve the date, 50% net-15 on delivery
  • Licences — annual, invoiced in advance, auto-renew with 30 days' notice
  • Retainers — monthly prepaid, three-month minimum, 30-day cancellation
  • Currency — USD. Travel billed at cost for onsite work
Fit

Who this is not for

  • Organisations wanting a certificate on the wall without changing how work runs
  • Teams that need a body on site five days a week — that's a hire, not a consultant
  • Anyone looking for the cheapest belt mill; the training here is sector-specific and priced accordingly
  • Projects with no access to data or to the people who do the work

Not sure which
one you need?

That's what the free 30-minute check is for. Bring one process that frustrates you and we'll work out together whether it's a visibility problem, a variation problem, or a capability problem — and what it would take to fix.
